When I visited the Museum Brandhorst in Munich in 2009, I spent much of my time on the lower level awestruck by the paintings of the late Cy Twombly. Their size strikes a vein of extreme envy in my painting soul as my true passion lies painting on oversized canvasses.
I recently came across this incredible website containing Twombly's life work and renewed my love affair with this artist. So my latest painting (below) is titled, i love you....cy. Who wouldn't love Twombly's free, childlike approach to canvas and paint!
